First Session

Today I had my first session in the school. I met with first class group at 9:30am - Emily's class.
The kids were introduced to Installation Art and then we went to the hall so the children could create their own installation based on a futuristic theme: an object or a place in the future. We all had so much fun. Below are some images of the great space that the kids could either sit in or walk through - there was a pirate ship amongst other great ideas...

After the session with first class I met with 4th class - Declan's class. This session was so different and the kids really put so much time and effort into the creating more detailed word, thinking more before making. Each group had a natural leader with some really creative installations made like flowers in the future, and a rocket, see below..
